Here at The Green Grocer we take seriously our role as gate-keepers to what goes on our shelves. What exactly does that mean? When we have put items on our shelves you can trust that we have asked a lot of questions before it got there. Things like what kind of growing practices are involved, how are the animals cared for or fed, how are the workers taken care of and many more. We look over ingredient lists to be sure can stand by the things that are in our foods. You shouldn’t have to read every ingredient and feel like you not sure if you want that in your food or not, we do it before it gets into your hands.
